Benefits under Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana:
Cash incentives of Rs. 5000 in three installments: Rs. 1000 upon early pregnancy registration at an Anganwadi Center (AWC) or other approved health facility as determined by the administering State or UT, Rs. 2000 upon completion of at least one pregnancy checkup (ANC) at six months of pregnancy, and Rs. 2000 upon registration of the child’s birth and after the child has received the first cycle of BCG and OPV.
The incentive provided under the Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) for institutional deliveries would be given to the qualified beneficiaries, and the incentive would be applied to maternity payments so that, on average, a woman would earn Rs 6000.
Registration for the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana:
The Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana makes registration for benefits necessary within 270 days of birth.
