Scheme for Youth: The Central and State Governments provide many schemes for the unemployed. On the one hand, a few thousand rupees are given to cover expenses, yet millions of rupees are given to the youth so that they might start their own businesses. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma has established a scheme to encourage self-employment in which youth will be assisted in establishing their own businesses.
The Swami Vivekananda Assam Youth Empowerment Scheme was launched by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on September 24 in a move to support youth self-employment and development. At a program conducted here, he introduced “Chief Minister Self-reliant Assam Abhijan 2023.” They have also opened a portal where people can apply for this scheme.
Chief Minister Self-sufficient Assam Elite 2023:
With the intention of encouraging entrepreneurship and self-employment, the “CM Atmanirbhar Assam Abhijan” scheme will offer financial support to unemployed degree holders or youth. The state government will give each of its young residents a financial aid package worth Rs 2 lakh, opening the door for a more promising and independent future for the state’s youth. Individuals benefit from this comprehensive strategy, which also helps the state’s overall socioeconomic development.
Several youngsters would receive Rs 5 lakh (Scheme for Youth):
The state government has created some categories. Unemployed individuals with degrees in engineering, medicine, agriculture, animal husbandry, or fisheries will be placed in the first category and would receive assistance in the amount of Rs 5 lakh, according to CM Biswa. However, those who have earned a postgraduate degree, a general graduate degree, an ITI, or a polytechnic diploma will be placed in the second group and will receive help in the amount of Rs 2 lakh.

First Class Chief Minister Elite Self-reliant Assam (Scheme for Youth):
Unemployed young people with degrees in MBBS, engineering, BDS, fisheries, agriculture, and animal husbandry are eligible for this category. These unemployed kids would receive government help totaling Rs. 5 lakh, of which 50% will be in the form of subsidies and the remaining balance will require no interest payments.
Second Class Chief Minister Elite Self-reliant Assam(Scheme for Youth):
This category of young people includes those without jobs who have postgraduate, general graduate, ITI, and polytechnic degrees. They will receive a financial aid package worth Rs 2 lakh, of which Rs 1 lakh will be provided as a subsidy. The remaining Rs 1 lakh must be paid back without interest.
Students from Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, and Other Backward Classes are only eligible in the first category if they meet the minimal requirement of Class 10.
Age Restriction for Assam’s Chief Minister Self-Reliant Elite (Scheme for Youth):
All applicants must be at least 28 years old, and the maximum age limit is 40 years for general applicants and 43 years for applicants who fall under the Other Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes categories.
The Advantages of a Chief Minister Self-Reliant Assam Elite (Scheme for Youth):

- The training session will last a month and participants will learn vital skills.

Eligibility of the Chief Minister Self-reliant Assam Elite (Scheme for Youth):
- The beneficiary must be an Assam permanent resident.
- To be eligible for this scheme, you must have completed your 10th grade.
- The beneficiary should be between the ages of 18 and 45.
- There should be no history of loan default on the beneficiary’s part.
- Before April 1, 2023, the applicant must be registered with the employment office.
- No one in the applicant’s family should work in the government sector, and no one should be a pensioner.
- The applicant must be able to generate income.

How to apply of the Chief Minister Self-reliant Assam Elite(Scheme for Youth):
To apply online for the Chief Minister Self-reliant Assam Abhijan, go to the Assam Government’s official website at https://cmaaa.assam.gov.in. Then, click on scheme registration. On the registration form, full name, address, gender, and other information must be entered correctly. After completing the form, you will receive a confirmation receipt, which you must print or download as a PDF.
What is the process for repaying the money to the Chief Minister Self-reliant Assam Elite? (Scheme for Youth)
According to the CM, recipients in the first group will receive government help for the remaining Rs. 2.5 lakh ($2.5 lakh) after returning Rs. 2.5 lakh ($2.5 lakh) interest-free. According to Sharma, out of the total sum, Rs. 1 lakh will be government subsidy and Rs. 1 lakh must be refunded without accruing interest for the second group’s beneficiaries. He added, “Only one member of a family may benefit from this scheme, and the applicant shall register in the employment office.”
